Tomas Kalnoky

Tomas Kalnoky is a Czech-American musician, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the ska punk band Streetlight Manifesto. Born on April 24, 1980, in Prague, Kalnoky's family emigrated to the United States when he was a child. He is recognized for his complex songwriting and intricate arrangements that blend ska, punk, and orchestral elements. Kalnoky formed Streetlight Manifesto in 2002, releasing the critically acclaimed album "Everything Goes Numb" in 2003, which features standout tracks like "The Big Sleep" and "A Better Place, A Better Time." His earlier work with the band Catch 22, particularly the album "Keasbey Nights," also gained a cult following and contributed to the third-wave ska revival in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
